The police said that the bandit opened a fire to Florida State University, killing two people and wounded at least five others.
The authorities reported that a 20-year-old revolverist was the son of a deputy sheriff, whose former service weapon was used during the shooting.
Two people who died were not students of the University, located in Tallahasee, Florida, but the shooter is considered a student, said Jason Trumbower, head of the Florida State University Department.
Trumbower said that five people were treated in Tallahasee Memorial Hospital, and Strzelec also received medical assistance.
The scared students and parents hid in the bowling alley and stuck in the goods elevator inside the student relationship after hearing the shots in front of the building.
An ambulances, firefighters and patrol vehicles from many law enforcement agencies raced towards the campus west of the capital of Florida after the university issued an active warning of the shooter at noon on Thursday, saying that the police were answering near the student relationship.

According to the school information sheet in 2024, about 44,000 students are enrolled in the university.
