9 Tips to Help You Start Depreciation, the next great action of Obsidian RPG

Welcome to living countries, a mystical and dangerous place where your emperor has sent you to fight against the growing plague of dreams. Action-action-action RPG Avagged excited me when I reviewed it at GamesCom Last year, and now that I spent about a dozen hours with the whole game, here's a list of tips to help you get a better foot forward when you start the game, from Settings to Tweak to Tips Research.

Lower the volume of music

Turning the level of music up to 60%.

The music in this game is too loud and constantly fighting the character dialog, making everything sound like a mess. It also seems that developers even knew about this, as the level of music is already dropped to 80%, but even that level is not enough. Get into the audio settings and turn it down even lower – I discovered that 60% is a good place to enjoy music as I heard what everyone is saying.

Watch out for the mini map

The mini map of the Avoud is full of various icons, highlighting collectors, enemies and search markers. It is worth taking care of this, as it can also help you find some hidden areas and treasures that appear while walking around the world. For example, early in the game I noticed an enemy marker coming from the other side of the ID. After a closer inspection, I found a switch with a hard place that opened a hidden door. This led to a battle with the monster I noticed on the map and the wealth of my chest waiting for me.

Explore everywhere for advice and xp

There is a lot to be found out of the main search for a line. Many NPCs will have complete conversations with dialogue trees if you interact with them, and they have a very worldwide sharing. I found this useful from time to time, as they would give me tips and advice on the area I was supposed to explore and what to expect or how to deal with the meetings. There are also many side quests to be found around the map, which tend to be more interesting than the main story. In fact, they have even been rewarded for research by giving you experience for experience every time you find a new named location, so press those boundaries.

Chat with your companions

Startee start recruiting new companions pretty quickly in the game, and their name and health will appear on the left side of your screen. What will also appear in a little exclamation icon, which means they want to have a specific conversation with you. Unfortunately, you cannot have this conversation unless you are at a camp, which you will not unlock in few ways in the game after you have already met a companion or two. However, once you have, you can freely travel to the camp and go through these new dialogue options.

Unlock the rate of the frame

I play Awowed on the Xbox Series X and during the initial settings menu, it does not give you the typical options for the rate/resolution of priorities. These options are available, but they must be changed after you start the game and make them in the starting scene. However, the real interesting option is that Avowed also allows you to unlock the frame rate, allowing you to achieve a smoother image than normal. However, the game points out that this is just an option for TVs that support 120Hz and have variable support for the refresh rate.

Adjust the frequency of automatic saving

Avowed will automatically save your game from time to time, despite allowing you to create more hand -saved whenever you want. You can get into the game settings and adjust how often you want it automatically saving. If you are considered to die and are constantly shipping than you want, this is a good option to mix for more frequent backup savings.

Switch to a third person camera

It may seem like blasphemy to choose not to play like a first person, but it's actually how I preferred to do it. In the game settings, you can transfer the position of the third person camera to see your character. I discovered that this helps me deal with combat meetings against more enemies trying to surround me, navigate in parts for platforms, and let me see the new armor and equipment I have designated on my hero.

Take advantage of the free camp recovery

If you are not in the middle of a fight or a dungeon, the fast trip to one of your camp places is the best way to treat yourself without using items or resources. Simply distorting there will complement your health and essence (magic) meters. Even better, when you leave the camp, you have the opportunity to go out where the camp is located or return to the exact point you initially traveled from means that you won't have to run back where you left.

When the game says you need better equipment, get it

Early in the main search line, you will get a lateral mission that will tell you to get the armor and weapons of higher quality. Your companions will even start calling your poor equipment during the fight to highlight this. Unfortunately, and one of the more frustrating parts of Awowed, the Gear the game wants to get is very expensive compared to where you are. However, it is advisable to follow the search tips and spend the money on upgrading. Not only will you do less damage and inflict more damage on stronger enemies, but the game will actually use your attacks and pamper your enemies with a fixed percentage because you do not use a higher/recommended degree of equipment. Save tire battles and grind your currency (or craft components) to get better equipment as soon as you advise you to do so.

A great but little challenging way to make money quickly is to take the different prizes in every city. These are the quests found on the work board, usually in a group. They will make you fight with strong, high value enemies and can get fast cash.

Avowed releases of Xbox and PC on February 18.
