The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) ordered the residents of Khan Einnis to evacuate as it prepares to begin an “unprecedented attack”.
People were ordered to move to Al Mavasi west of the strip, in one of the greatest evacuation orders issued by Israeli military in recent months.
An Arabian statement shared by IDF Avichae Adraee spokesman said the area “will be considered a dangerous battle zone,” adding: “Terrorist organizations have brought you a disaster. For your safety, evacuate immediately.”
IDF launches a large new offensive in Gaza on Saturday called Gideon Operation, Gideon's chariots. Hospitals have said more than 100 people have been killed in the last 24 hours.
A woman from Khan Einnis told the BBC that the new evacuation order – which also covers the areas of Bani Suhaly and Abassan – is her “the” the worst nightmare “.
Among those who escaped was the 13 -year -old barrel, who said the order had been issued while her father was looking for food and that they were forced to leave without him.
“Please God, let the war stop. Where is my father?” she said. “We don't know where he is. Please just bring us my father.”
Abdal Abu Shab, who also escaped, said, “We were told to go to Al Mavasi, and here we are. What do we do?”
“There is no tent for us or something,” he said, adding that “there is no transport and people have no money to ride a stroller.”
Another woman who already lives under an evacuation order in a central gas, said she would not move “because there is nowhere to go.”
IDF said its aim is to “destroy the capabilities of terrorist organizations in this area.”
Earlier on Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel will “take control” over the whole gas.
In a video posted on social media, he said: “We are engaged in massive struggles – intense and essential – and there is progress.
“We will take control of all areas of the tape. We'll do it.”
IDF said it had hit 160 targets through the tape in the last 24 hours.
A warehouse containing medical supplies at the Nasser hospital was struck by Israeli strike overnight, Gaza Hamas Ministry of Health reported.
British charity care for Palestinians said the strike had happened “since the Palestinians who were killed and injured by other attacks were brought to the hospital.”
“We just see all our work to be burned to ashes,” said a spokesman for the charity.
Separately, the Palestinian media reported that Israeli special forces troops dressed in women's clothing had entered the home of Han Esannis undercover and killed a man on Monday morning before arresting their wife and child.
The Israeli media described him as Ahmad Sarhan and announced that he was a senior member of the military wing of the popular resistance committees – the Palestinian militant group aligned with Hamas.
Earlier, the IDF said that Gaza's advanced operations were aimed at “achieving all the goals of war”, including the release of hostages and “Hamas's defeat”.
But a group representing many of the hostages of the hostages said the operation is a “serious and escalating danger” of the hostages still being held in Gaza.
“The testimonies of liberated hostages describe significantly poor treatment after military strikes, including physical violence, restraint and reduced food,” said the hostage forum and missing families.
On Sunday, Israel announced that it would allow the “main amount of food” to enter Gaza to ensure that “no hunger crisis is developing Blocking the territory for 10 weeksS
The war was triggered by the attacks led by Hamas against South Israel on October 7, 2023, killing about 1,200 people and 251 hostages.
About 58 hostages remain in gas, up to 23 of which are thought to be alive.
More than 53,000 Palestinians were killed during Israel's military campaign in Gaza.
