The Palestinians took to the streets in South Gaza for the third day to protest against Hamas.

In Gaza, public criticism of Hamas carries significant risks.

Others have been reported to have been beaten, shot or killed for the public opposition to the group.
Alaa said that when their protest approached the hospital in Nasser on Monday, a group of men told them to stop.
“There was a man who wanted to take his gun, but his friend stopped him. They could not do anything because they were superior to the number of protesters.”
Mumen Al Natur, who is a lawyer, a former political prisoner and co-founder of the anti-Hamasian protest movement, we want to live, said: “Fatigue, effort and expenditure costs are pushing people to rebel against Hamas, who refuse to surrender and betray their weapons.”
The United Nations organization says more than 57,000 people have been displaced in South Gaza since May 15 because of combat and evacuation orders.
More than 53,000 people have been killed in Gaza since the start of the war, according to Hamas Health Ministry, 82 of them in the last 24 hours.
Israel has launched a military campaign to destroy Hamas after the group's cross -border attack on October 7, 2023, in which about 1,200 people were killed and 251 others were returned to Gaza as hostage.
