The creators of the Bird Buddy camera-equipped bird feeder presented two new products at the exhibition. CES 2025 under the new Wonder brand, which will allow you to spy on nature and help pollinators thrive.
Petal, a solar-powered camera with interchangeable lenses and Nature Intelligence (also known as AI), can be mounted with a clamp, flexible arm or pole, so it can be mounted almost anywhere in the outdoors. It will analyze everything it sees and tell you which birds, insects and other creatures stopped by. The second product, Wonder Blocks, is a modular system similar to a house for insects and birds. It's all very nice.
The Petal Camera comes in soft, vibrant colors like orange, blue and yellow, so it will look great in a flower pot or on a thin tree branch. According to the company, it can record and stream footage to your phone, and send commentary about “the sights and sounds of nature, from birds hatching to the flapping of a butterfly's wings, a flower blooming and being pollinated by bees.” If you also have Wonder Blocks, you can use Petal to keep an eye on the small community that is forming there.
There are several options for components that you can add to Wonder Blocks; The complete system includes a pedestal on the bottom, a bug hotel, a large plant stand, a seed tray, a bee hotel and a butterfly feeder on top. Both Petal and Wonder Blocks will launch on Kickstarter this spring.
