In an open letter to its franchisees, employees and suppliers, McDonald's announced its achievements in its commitment to inclusion, one of its “core values,” and the company also said it wanted to “highlight several important changes in our approach.”
The changes include ditching McDonald's “aspirational representation goals,” getting rid of the DEI commitment to its suppliers, renaming its diversity team the “Global Inclusion Team” and ending external surveys.
