During CES, Sony and Naughty dog A new trailer has been revealed for the second season of the Emmy Award-winning HBO series. The last of usIt stars Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, and now we know when it's coming out.
This is our first look at the future of the show since the teaser trailer debuted at the end of September. The two-minute teaser, which contains several references to the origin game that won the 2020 Game of the Year award, takes place five years after Important events of the first season– In this story, we see Joel (Miller) and Ellie (Ramsey)'s family relationship unravel as they grow apart from the big moment in the first season finale.
Unfortunately, the old adage of no rest for the wicked extends to the undead and their existence as they both fight to survive. Just like the first season Time will tell if that season is forthcoming or not. The last of us Will it follow the story beats of its source material logically or play with it in creative and expansive ways? We hope it's the latter.
Joining Pascal and Ramsay are Caitlin Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dinah (Ellie's new love interest) and Ma. Young Sino in the role of Jesse Similar to last season's video game Joel and Ellie, actors Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson make guest appearances.
