Buried in the courtyard. CES 2025 Eureka Hall startup showcase; CaiqueTech The tried and true baseball radar gun was an innovative display. After building a dedicated device, The Korean company has created a modular version that connects directly to a phone via a USB-C port.
The PI SpeedGun module includes a radar. The company didn't have anyone throwing a baseball this week. It shows the system picking up people as they walk.
It then displays the speed and other statistics on the handset's large screen. It's hard to gauge the system's accuracy just by walking across a crowded convention center floor.
CaiqueTech plans to bring the product to market in the near future. A company representative told TechCrunch that the PI SpeedGun will launch on Kickstarter in June and will be priced around $150.
It should be a useful tool for recreational players.
