Los Angeles officials said the Pacific Palisades fire has become the most destructive in the city's history.

“He's going to take care of the family in the LA area who had to evacuate because of the wildfires that were going on there,” the NBA executive said. Chris Haynes said a video posted on X Wednesday.

Leonard just made his debut on Saturday night, as the Clippers beat the Atlanta Hawks. He had been out for nine months due to what the team described as a right knee injury. He had not played since April 26, a playoff game against the Dallas Mavericks.

Leonard is from Los Angeles and attended King High School in Riverside.
