The Critics Choice Awards have been postponed for two weeks due to the wildfires burning throughout Los Angeles.
The show was scheduled for this Sunday at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica and has now been rescheduled for Sunday, January 26, Fox News Digital has learned.
“This ongoing tragedy has already had a profound impact on our community,” CCA CEO Joey Berlin said in a statement shared with Fox News Digital. “All our thoughts and prayers are with those fighting the devastating fires and all those affected.”
Organizers told Fox News Digital: “The rescheduled event will take place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, and will broadcast on E! and around the world. It will also be available on Peacock the following day. ”

“The Price is Right,” directed by Drew Carey and which films in Glendale and is close to the locations where the move is being made, has stopped filming for the long-running drama, according to Deadline.
Late night shows “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and “After Midnight” also canceled their Wednesday shows.
Both are far from the evacuation zone, but there are also live audiences for their shows who may have to drive through unsafe areas to attend the show.

Premieres of Jennifer Lopez's “Unstoppable” and Blumhouse's “Wolf Man” were also canceled Tuesday night.
“Tonight's first episode of 'Wolf Man' has been canceled out of compassion for the deteriorating weather in LA and the associated flooding,” Universal told Deadline.

Amazon Studios told Fox News Digital, “Due to today's concerns about the severe wind and fire outbreak in Los Angeles, we regret to inform you that we are canceling tonight. Unstoppable premiere.'”

The premieres of the movie “Better Man” and the Max series “The Pitt” were also canceled on Wednesday, reports Variety.
Pamela Anderson's “The Last Showgirl” premiere on Thursday has also been canceled.

“Due to the dangerous situation affecting Los Angeles, we are canceling tomorrow's screening of 'Better Man,'” Paramount told Variety. “Our thoughts are with those affected by the devastating fires caused by these conditions, and we encourage everyone to stay safe and follow the directions and instructions from local officials and government agencies.”

Universal Studios closed its theme park on Wednesday as well as its basement, halting production for the shows “Hacks,” “Happy's Place,” “Loot,” “Suits LA” and “Ted,” according to Deadline.
