The Eaton and Hurst fires, which also started Tuesday, have affected more than 2,200 and 500 acres, respectively, the CalFire website showed.

“Heed the advice of first responders,” he said. “When they tell you to evacuate, evacuate. This is not a drill, this is happening in real time.”
Fox News Digital reported that tens of thousands of people were ordered to evacuate because of the fires.

California Governor Gavin Newsom The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is giving the state a fire management grant to “help ensure the availability of critical resources” to fight the Hearst fire, it said Wednesday.
Such assistance has also been authorized for the Palisades and Eaton fires.
