This week, Delta became the first company to hold a CES press conference, or “show,” as the host called it, at the Sphere in Las Vegas. You've probably heard of this high-tech venue, which usually hosts exciting concerts rather than trade shows. The “multi-sensory experience” includes interior and exterior surfaces draped with LED displays and offering 4D effects such as wind and scents. And Delta used it all. Apple, Google, Sony and everyone else, it's time to up their game.
Got money to burn?
While many of the biggest announcements at CES won't come until 2025, there are a few cool things you can order now. Like Anker 140W quad-port charger with top/bottom ports to reduce the chance of it falling out of the socket. first segway are also available for pre-order if you're feeling like you're spending more money, although specific prices remain a mystery.
The latest version of the Freewrite has some fancy features and a bright red joystick.
Astrohaus has been making its “distraction-free writing tools” under the Freewrite brand for about a decade. Until now, they've been standalone, dedicated devices just for drawing text, but the Freewrite Wordrunner is a keyboard designed specifically for writers. The function bar has been replaced with a custom key set that includes search and replace, undo and redo, paragraph up and down, and back, forward, and reload keys. The device will launch at an early bird price on Kickstarter in February, but the price is still unknown.
