Former Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanova discusses the local response to the “devastating” California wildfires on “The Big Money Show.”
As wildfires ravage California and leave a trail of devastation in their wake, wealthy businessman. Elon Musk announced that SpaceX will provide free Starlink terminals to affected areas in Los Angeles.
He made the announcement while reposting a video of a reporter crediting Starlink Internet service with the connection.
The reporter said that Starlink “is the only reason we can hear and communicate with you right now, because there is absolutely no cell phone service in this entire area.”

representative Eric SwalwellD-Calif., has called on Musk to use the money and his X social network platform to help poor families whose homes and businesses have been destroyed by the devastating wildfires.
Sawalul made these comments After Musk shared a video, which he said was taken by a friend in Los Angeles, showing some of the destruction.

“Can you use this platform and your money to help poorer families who have lost their homes or jobs?” asked the congressman.
SWALWELL drew criticism on social media for questioning how Trump would lower grocery prices.

Musk has claimed that wildfires in the Golden State can be prevented, but regulations prevent him from taking steps to prevent the infernos.
“These fires are easily avoidable, but California's crappy regulations prevent action, so year after year more homes burn and more people die,” Musk said in a post on X.
He said: “My friend just texted me that his house burned down again. His old house also burned down in an uncontrolled fire several years ago. California can easily stop these massive fires, but for biological reasons A fake environment refuses to start a fire.” In a separate post
