Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced the launch of three new Hubs in Europe to strengthen its capabilities in the software -defined vehicle space (SDV).
The new automotive supply centers in Munich and Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany, along with an engineering center in Romania, represent a strategic movement to support the transfer of the automotive industry to the next-generation mobility solutions.
The distribution centers in Germany will assist automators to develop and use software -driven services for autonomous driving, infotainment, security systems, and related vehicle technologies.
The Romanian Engineering Center will be dedicated to designing and creating advanced automotive software platforms, fostering early stage development and innovation.
This expansion is part of the long -term TCS strategy to enhance its comprehensive automotive software capabilities, including down -chip technologies and services.
The strategic location of these centers enables TCS to work closely with European OEMs and world -ea -automotive enterprises, offering abilities near the shore.
TCS Internet of Things (IoT) and Senior Vice President of Digital Engineering and the Chief Global Chief of Regu Ayyaswamy, said: “These new centers will place TCS at the forefront of automotive innovation, enabling us to provide world-class solutions in driving autonomous and developed cocktails.”
Currently, the new centers employ more than 100 skilled professionals who will join more than 2,000 SDV engineers across the world -GE locations of TCS.
This talent fund will contribute to the development of next -generation automotive platforms for digital cockpit, infotainment, advanced driver support systems, and other critical SDV functions, supporting the whole product life cycle of concept to production and ongoing support.
After serving European automotive customers for over 25 years, TCS has an established presence in the region's automotive hubs.
The company has been providing innovative solutions in digital cockpit, electrification, autonomous vehicles, and related car ecosystems, using digital engineering, IOT, cloud and data analytics.
In addition, TCS leverages productive AI to facilitate product development, enabling faster innovation and increased personalization in SDVs.
