Canada and European Union The joint summit in Brussels opened a new round of translatable cooperation on Monday with the official signing of security and defense partnerships.

Under the terms of the agreement, the annual “security and defense dialogue” will be held to include Canada and EU top officials.
The agreement also pledges to enhance both partners in supporting Ukraine, improving Canada's military movements in Europe, and enhancing maritime cooperation in areas with “mutual interest” such as Hindu Pacific.
Canada will need to sign a second agreement with the European Commission before it can take part in the Rear Europe of 150 billion euros.
Security and Defense Agreement promises further cooperation on cybercularity, foreign intervention, unknown information and emerging issues in external space policy.
