A British man has been accused of organizing the “layout” of a nine -year -old Ukrainian girl in Paris on Disneyland.
French prosecutors said the 39-year-old man was convicted of a sexual criminal who was wanted in the UK. His name is not publicly disclosed.
He was arrested when police were summoned to the entertainment park on Saturday morning at Dawn by Guest, who said he had been hired by the man to play the bride's father.
The man said he had been paid 12,000 euros to play the role and that he only realized at the last moment that the “bride” was a child, according to a statement by the Meaux Jean-Baptiste Bladier prosecutor.
The statement also said that the Ukrainian girl – arriving in France two days earlier – was not a victim of either physical or sexual abuse and was not “forced to play the role” of the bride.
A woman who says she was hired to play the role of a guest, told BFMTV that when she arrived in Disneyland Paris, she saw “a little girl dressed in white, with her hair, everything, and I saw a woman who lifted her in her hands … and I was shocked, I burst into tears.”
“When I saw (a) child – it was horrifying.”
About 100 French extras were hired to participate in the false ceremony that had to be filmed in private capacity.
The Briton has been reported to have hired Paris for several hours for the stuntman in which he has to play the role of the groom.
The preliminary findings also stated that he was allegedly “invented professionally, so that his face looks completely different from his,” according to the prosecutor.
Three more people were also arrested-the 41-year-old mother of the girl, a 24-year-old Latvian woman who had to play the bride's sister and a 55-year-old Latvian man, were also arrested.
Until Tuesday, only the Briton was still held by police.
The British man and the Latvian woman appeared before a Judge in Meaux on June 23 and the man was accused of fraud, confidence, money laundering and identity theft and putting in pre -detention.
The Latvians remain a witness in the investigation.
The prosecutor's statement also said that Paris on Disneyland was “deceived” and that the organizer used a fake Latvian identifier to hire the place. Disneyland Paris can be hired by members of public external working hours.
BFMTV has announced that the “mock -up wedding” can have an organizer of more than 130,000 euros (110,000 British pounds).
The statement of G -N Bladier said that the Briton “was convicted in the past, including for sexual crimes against minors.
“He as such is indicated in the British Data Data on Sexual Criminal and is currently wanted at the national level by the judicial authorities of his country of origin because of violation of the requirements arising from the said order.”
At this stage, it is not clear what the meaning of the “stuntman” is.
The investigation is ongoing.
