Los Angeles residents wake up to hellish skies and charred homes

Residents of Los Angeles on Wednesday woke up to the aftermath of various fires that continue to burn across the city. At least two people were killed and dozens were injured.

A video shows one resident watching her home burn, comparing her neighborhood to driving through a “war zone.”

Los Angeles Fire Chief Christine Crowley says the four ongoing fires — Palisades, Eaton, Hurst and Woodley — are 0 percent contained and are “stretching” those responsible to their limits. The Palisades fire, which broke out Tuesday morning, has burned more than 1,000 buildings, officials said.
