Sizzler offering free meals to California wildfire victims, rescuers at multiple locations


If you have been evacuated from one of them Los Angeles area At wildfires or first responders, you're invited to eat for free at one of four Sizzler locations.

“Please come in for a free hot meal,” Sizzler posted on Facebook and X Thursday afternoon.

Participating restaurant locations are in Van Nuys, Los Feliz, Palmdale and Culver City.

“Just let our cashier know you're here for the bonfire food,” the post reads. “Please continue to stay safe.”

California wildfires are raging across Los Angeles County, forcing thousands to evacuate their homes.

Diners can choose from a six-ounce steak, six crispy jumbo shrimp, or their Malibu Chicken meal. Each comes with a side dish and a fountain drink.

According to its website, the first Sizzler opened in 1958. Restaurants Known for their all-you-can-eat salads.

One Facebook user responded to Sizzler's post: “That's so kind. “My family is all there. I'm worried about Oregon. I grew up there. How sad.”

“Such kindness and generosity shows us the humanity of your company,” wrote another.

Many restaurant chains thanked casual diners and said they would continue to patronize the company as a result of the offer.

“This inspired me to support my local (not in the fire zone) SoCal Sizzler, to support a brand that looks out for others like this,” one man wrote. “Thanks Sizzler!”
