SHANGHAI (Reuters) – People's Bank of China Governor Pan Gongsheng met his Bank of England counterpart, Andrew Bailey, on Saturday in Beijing and discussed topics including financial stability and cooperation, China's central bank said on Sunday.
Pan met with senior executives at HSBC, Standard Chartered (OTC:) Bank and London Stock Exchange (LON: ) on Friday, the PBOC said.
The meetings took place during a two-day visit by British finance minister Rachel Reeves to China, where she sought to revive economic and financial talks that have been stalled for nearly six years.
