MSNBC host Alex Wagner lamented Monday that the Democratic Party and the media he missed the “crucial moment” in the 2024 election about what voters really care about and detailed how he will spend President-elect Donald Trump's 100 days.
“I think one of the feelings we've all had after this election is that we've been shortchanged by this crisis, in the media, to some extent, and we're certainly and the Democratic Party,” Wagner said.
Wagner, who took over as host of MSNBC Rachel Maddow's first season four nights a week on the network, she will be on the road talking to voters and more about Trump's first 100 days. Maddow, who was previously relegated to hosting her own show only one night a week on MSNBC, will be bringing back the 9PM show for the first few months of Trump's presidency.
“I think it's important that we get out there and show the country a 360-degree view of what's going on and how people are affected on a visual and personal level. A lot of this is clearly going on. ,” he said.

Wagner and Maddow will return to their current schedule, with Maddow hosting the Monday evening slot and Wagner hosting the rest of the week, through April 30, according to the AP.
