Today's mini crossword wasn't terribly difficult, but it had one of those double clues that I hate, where they tell you, for example, that 7-Across is “an adjective related to 3-Down in simile.” That's great, New York Times puzzles, if I already knew what a 3-Down was. WHICH I DON'T. So I leave blanks, and I go back and forth, and eventually it all fills in. Need some answers and tips? Read on.
