A former Air Force pilot will serve as the next U.S. Air Force Vice Adm. President-elect Donald Trump announced Friday night.
Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier, the former commander of the US Space Force, appeared on Fox News to discuss military preparedness, after saying he was fired for criticizing the military. “Marxist” DEI complex.
Lohmeier, a graduate of the US Air Force Academyhe was in the military for more than a decade before joining the Air Force in 2020, where he specialized in missile warning systems.

Trump praised Lohmeier in the nomination announcement, writing Lohmeier “dedicated his life to serving our Great Nation.”
“Matthew will work with the Defense Secretary-elect, Pete Hegsethto end the destructive “woke” policies that have destroyed our Military, and to make our Country WILL LIVE AGAIN,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Congratulations Matthew!”
