Elon Musk's appearance at a Trump rally this afternoon is getting considerable attention online for a one-handed gesture.
He made the gesture while thanking his supporters for contributing to Trump's victory. Musk thanked the crowd for “making this happen” before placing his right hand over his heart and then extending that same hand in the air straight in front of him.
“My heart goes out to you. Thanks to you, the future of civilization is secured,” he said.
Several users on X, the social media platform he owns, likened the gesture to a Nazi salute.
Musk has not commented since appearing at the Capital One Arena rally earlier.
