Amazon founder Jeff Bezos' girlfriend Lauren Sanchez draws attention to her dress at US President Donald Trump's inauguration. Sanchez was seen wearing a white blazer and a lace corset underneath with crossover lapels by Alexander McQueen.

The appearance was considered inappropriate for a state ceremony. Netizens questioned whether the look was appropriate or not, with some even commenting that it looked trashy. Others said money doesn't equate to class, with one user poking some fun at the Amazon billionaire's wife.

“Lauren Sanchez is wearing underwear inside the Capital Rotunda at the Inauguration. Is this appropriate?” asked a user.

“Lauren Sanchez is wearing a corset bra under her jacket. Wild outfit for the Trump inauguration,” another user said.

“Jeff Bezos girlfriend Lauren Sanchez's shirt was delayed by Amazon delivery

“Come on Lauren Sanchez. You decided to wear a bra and blazer to a presidential inauguration? Money doesn't equal class. Disgraceful,” said a fourth user.

“Lauren Sanchez was dressed by Victoria's Secret for the inauguration. Good grief,” joked another user.

“I'm talking about sexy women, but it's a tasteless look. She should have discussed her outfits with the First Lady. Melania looks sexy and badass,” one user commented.

Trump was sworn in for a second term as US president on Monday in an indoor ceremony in the Capitol Rotunda. JD Vance was also sworn in as Vice President of the United States.

The event was relocated indoors due to extreme cold weather in the United States. Members of the incoming Trump administration could not bring their spouses. Governors including Florida's Ron DeSantis and Georgia's Brian Kemp were ushered in to watch the ceremony from the overflow room.

The event was attended by several world leaders and businessmen including Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, Apple CEO Tim Cook, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk and Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg.

India was represented by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. Moreover, Jeff Bezos had donated $1 million to Trump's inaugural fund. Amazon telecasted the event live on Prime Video.
