Samsung introduced a very thin phone called Galaxy S25 Edge


Samsung makes a thin version Galaxy S25. The Galaxy S25 Edge was announced at the end of the company's presentation. Unpacked eventand it does feel significantly thinner than other Samsung phones released today.

There's little that can change about Samsung's ridicule. The voiceover describes the phone as “the culmination of our most innovative technologies” and highlights the device's apparent sleekness. Watch Samsung's live stream and you'll see components like the vapor chamber, cameras, and metal frames, but only the slightest glimpse of the Galaxy S25 Edge's actual silhouette. At Samsung's live event in Korea, the new phone was actually showcased. You can watch it in the embed below.

Samsung didn't share details about when the Galaxy S25 Edge will launch at its event, but Bloomberg reports that the phone will go on sale “in the US and other markets by mid-year.” The device will also “use some of the same technologies as the new Ultra model,” just in a thinner design. “Samsung has not yet decided on the price” Bloomberg writes, “but acknowledged that it will be cheaper than the $1,299+ Ultra.”

The company won't be the only one trying to attract skinny customers in 2025. Apple will also reportedly introduce iPhone 17 “Air” later this year.
