The Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 at Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh has not only excited the visitors but also aroused the interest of the observers. Mahindra Group Chairman and industry leader Anand Mahindra recently shared an insight from a blog post by Professor Tarun Khanna of Harvard Business School.
Khanna is currently attending the mega event in Prayagraj. According to Mahindra's post on X, the professor mentioned Chai Point on his blog.

Chai Point and its partner Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) are hoping to set a Guinness World Record for the most number of cups sold at a single event. They hope to sell over a crore cups of tea during Maha Kumbha.
Every cup of tea served in shops has milk from Nandini. According to media reports, the brand's sweets and milkshakes will also be offered.
Prof. Khanna also mentioned in his post that the 'city' is a miracle in itself as it is “built on the banks of an ever-flowing holy river, to eventually dissolve in an ecologically efficient manner.”
He shared a picture of para commandos equipped with space-age surveillance infrastructure like NASA-style control room, spy and surveillance drones, distributed sensors for problem solving and security.
Maha Kumbh Mela is an important Hindu festival that takes place every 144 years. The festival is expected to attract over 40 million visitors this year. Maha Kumbha will be held from January 13 to February 26, 2025 at Prayagraj.
Important bathing dates during the festival are January 29, February 3, February 12 and February 26.
