The unveiling of the Skyrider X1, which claims to be “the world's first flying passenger motorcycle,” has certainly sparked excitement.

It was founded by Rictor, another brand of the Chinese company Kuickwheel, which Skyrider X1 it marks a major development from Rictor's first product, the K1 e-bike. The Skyrider X1 has features an aquatic processwhich allows it to work on land and water, although some skeptics are curious to know how well it will perform in real-world conditions. The vehicle can reach speeds of up to 62 mph (100 km/h) and offers flight times of approximately 25 minutes for the base model with a 10.5-kWh battery. The premium version, with a 21-kWh battery, boasts up to 40 minutes of flight time.

Constructed from lightweight carbon fiber and aircraft-grade aluminum composites, the Skyrider X1 balances durability with flying ability. It also includes smart technology which includes automatic route planning to find the correct flight paths based on the destination and real-time adaptation that adjusts altitude, speed and course according to weather conditions.
