Ninja Gaiden 4 is presented by Platinum Games and Team Ninja


Platinum Games today unveiled its latest game, Ninja Gaiden 4, the newest game in the legendary action series. He is making the game in partnership with the series' longtime developer, Team ninja. They plan to release the new game in the fall of 2025 on Xbox, PC, Game Pass, and PlayStation 5. Team Ninja also announced the launch of Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, a remake of the second game in the series, a remake that is currently available. on Xbox Game Pass.

Ninja Gaiden 4 introduces a new main character, Yakumo, a young ninja who struggles through Tokyo in the future with a cyberpunk flavor that is shadowed by the cult of the Dark Dragon. He eventually battles the series' long-running protagonist, Ryu Hayabusa, who is also a playable character. According to Team Ninja, its collaboration with Platinum Games has created gameplay that is fast-paced but still respects the unique challenge of the series.

Before the Direct was broadcast, Xbox teased that the fourth game to be shown would be a new title, which has not been announced or talked about yet. The last game in the series, not counting the 2014 spin-off Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, was Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, an updated re-release of Ninja Gaiden 3 released on the PlayStation 3 , Xbox 360 and Wii U.

Team Ninja also revealed details about Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, a remake of the second game built in Unreal Engine 5. According to the developerthis is the definitive edition of the game, similar to Ninja Gaiden Black. It was created using fan feedback on the version of the game that appeared in the Ninja Gaiden Master Collection (which itself was a modified version of the original called Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma). It's available to play now on Xbox Game Pass.
