The hockey team on Ice Lions based in Nairobi has to visit the game at the Olympic Games. The band recently celebrated their first win in the match with a friendly league, standing in front of amateurs from “colder nations” on Home Ice – a ice rink founded by a group of Canadians in 2005. The team is only the fifth African team introduced to the Africa team International Federation of Hockey on Ice is trained by a Canadian and currently has one player.
