US President Donald Trump said on Friday that he is planning to apply tariffs on imported cars around April 2.

The range of tariffs is unclear.
At the beginning of this week, the president thought about 50 or 100 percent tariffs for imported cars, saying that Canada “stole” an industry from the United States and that he wants vehicles made in Detroit.
The arrest of 25 percent tariffs on all Canadian exports was announced at the beginning of this month, lasting until the beginning of March. But since then, Trump has signed a tariff order for foreign steel and aluminum, including Canada.
