When jonesing for some soda, it can be more fun to create your own carbonated drink at home, and can be more accessible in the long run than buy soda. Most of the popular soda -making machines allow users the opportunity to adapt their own tastes and even control the amount of carbonization. And best of all, these machines are friendly enough for each skill level.
But when looking for a soda machine, it's important to make sure it's worth your precious kitchen counter space. It should be compact, easy to use and, of course, capable of making a delicious, bubble soda.
To find the best, I put eight manufacturers of soda test, including three Sodastream Models, fancy new ninja's home Thirsty machine and Aarque Stunning carbonor from stainless steel. Based on my testing, here are the four best soda producers they buy for themselves or that special someone who is It is impossible to buy gifts for.
Who is the best soda producer as a whole?
After wide testing (and a permanent case of hiccups), we marked Sodastream Terra As the best soda producer for 2025. During our testing, we discovered that it constantly made foam water with its simple hand pump; It is cheaper to purchase, and also offers an exchange program that makes them get carbonating canners cheaper.
While there are more elegant options, Sodastream Terra is probably the best water producer with soda for most people.

Terra is a model of entry at the level of Sodastream, but works well and descends to the top of our list as the best water producer with soda for most people. The terra made constantly trampled water with simple hand pumps. It is very easy to work with and does not take up much space on the counter.
The Terra model has a recent improvement in previous sodastream models, which is that you can click on a carbon dioxide canister at the back, instead of loading it from the bottom. This saves a step every time you change the canister. Talking about canisters, sodastream has Easy Exchange Program Where you can drop empty cartridges in exchange for full at about half price ($ 17).
If I had a complaint about this and some other sodastreams, it is that plastic building is poor. Terra has the lowest price on any model on this list. The basic package is about $ 100 and includes carbon dioxide and plastic career cartridge, with a value of three plastic bottles (1 liter), two carbon dioxide cassettes (60L) and two bottles for $ 160.

If it's more than just sparkling water you want, the ninja soup system is the right choice. At its basic price of $ 150, it is more expensive than the standard container, but that is because it does much more.
Thirst is the only electronic beverage producer on this list. Adds carbon dioxide to your water with the best of them, but it also has the opportunity to convey flavors, caffeine, vitamins and other electronic supplements in 6-, 12-, 18- or 24-ounce portions.
Choose from more than 20 drops of water to include in the front of the drink manufacturer – even two at the same time – and thirst will spit fruit drinks, lemonade and spicy sparkling water in about 3 seconds. The drinks are all zero-calories, and some are sweetened with sacralose. If you do not like the taste of that replacement for sugar, you will want to adhere to the “splash” pieces, which contain only essence.
The basic WRIDI pack comes with the machine, a carbon dioxide canister and eight drops of water to add a little panage to your hydration routine.

If design and aesthetics are important to you, Aarque is quite clearly the most beautiful water producer with soda on the market. It is made of metal, while most others are constructed of cheaper plastic. There is also something from the Vintage Store Appeal, and it's slim, so you can slide it to the counter without defending a lot of real estate. Aarke III works well, although it releases carbon dioxide a little less consistently than Sodastream.
This is also the most expensive soda producer on our list of over $ 200, and that price does not include a carbon dioxide canister. The good news is that you can use Sodastream and Soda Sensei Canisters with AARKE and use their robust canister exchange programs.

If you are looking to be transported to an Italian square, a bottle of sparkling water poured from a glass bottle can help. Sodastream's Aqua Fizz has all the functions of other models, but elevated design. The carafet that accompanies the startup package is the glass and the base that holds them while in use is metal. It is also quieter than other models as the bottles are covered completely while pumping with gas.
I don't like the look of this model as much as Aark is, but it's a more acceptable premium model, and glass carets, although smaller than plastic versions, are nice to put on the table for dinner.

In testing to find the best water manufacturers with soda, it is mostly reduced to general performance, easy use and overall value. I made at least 10 full bottles of sparkling water using each, noticing how skillful and consistent machine performed its most important duty to transfer carbon dioxide to the water. I also carbonated other liquids – including fruit juice and wine – but I discovered that there was no difference in performance based on the type of fluid to be carbonated. If the machine was well carbonated by water, do so through all the liquids.
Some of the machines took more muscular and pumps than the handle to miss carbon dioxide in the bottles. Of the hand machines, the models with Sodastrim were the most consistent. With five unique settings, the manufacturer of Spärkel Electric Seltzer makes the most precise water with soda.
The stylish AARKE III carbonator comes in five finishes and looks like a vintage malt.
I also noticed the firmness and building of every water producer with soda. The Aarke III is by far the most prominent soda water maker and is built firmly of stainless steel, with five finishes. Aesthetics are beautiful, but it is also by far the most expensive model, marking over $ 200, which prevents it from being the best model for most people.

Dreammate omnifizz: This $ 120 sparkling producer did a good job with carbonating water, wine and juice. I do not have much negative to say about the machine, except that the hinge at the top that connects the bottle to the machine seems to be loosened or broken over time.
Sodastream Fizzi One Touch: Sodastream Fizzi One Touch is an electronic producer of sparkling water that is usually sold for $ 130, but is currently on sale for $ 124. It works well and has three settings to get any level of carbonization you are looking for. This is another model with which I have no big problems, but I just don't think it's worth an extra $ 54 over his hand colleague, Terra when it's not for sale.
Whale: This unique carbonization system uses powder packs instead of carbon dioxide canisters to add fizz to water. It works well, but the machine base is the largest of most and is not worth a price of $ 150.
Soda Sensei (Out of stock): This model looks nice, but fought a little more than Sadd's Terra to make a constant bubble water.
