Trump shoots the US General CQ Brown in a shake in the Pentagon

US President Donald Trump has fired the chairman of joint headquarters CQ Brown, the highest-ranking officer in the country, as part of a major shaking of the senior military leadership.

“I want to thank General Charles 'CQ' Brown for over 40 years of service in our country,” Trump published on social media. He said five other senior officials were also replaced.

Gen Brown was the second black officer to hold the post whose owner advised both the President and the Minister of Defense for National Security.

US Secretary of Defense Pete Heget said earlier that Gen Brown should be fired because of his “awakened” focus on variety programs, justice and involvement in the military.
