Rome – Pope Francis rested on Monday morning after a good night on the 10th day of hospitalization for a complex lung infection that caused this Early stages of renal failuresaid the Vatican.
One linear statement did not say that 88-year-old Franciscan woke up. “The night went well, the Pope slept and rested,” the statement said.
His condition revived the assumption of what could happen if he becomes conscious or otherwise disabled, and whether he may resign.

At the end of Sunday, doctors reported that blood tests showed early renal insufficiency, which was still under control. They said Francis remained in a critical state but no longer felt respiratory crises Saturday.
He received high flow of extra oxygen and on Sunday was alert, responsive and visited the Mass. They said his forecast was protected.
Doctors said the state of Francis is a touch and enter, given his age, fragility and previous lung diseases. They warned that the main threat to Francis is a sepsis, a serious blood infection that can occur as a complication of pneumonia.
To date, there were no links to any start of sepsis in the medical updates provided by the Vatican, including Sunday.

On Monday, Francis's 10th hospital is celebrated on Monday, equal to the longest hospitalization of their papacy. In 2021, he spent 10 days at Hemel Hospital in Rome after he had 13 inches of his colon.
