Federal Favorite Favorite Inflation Meter showed prices as expected in January

The Federal Reserve Preferential Inflation Meter showed that prices rose at speeds in January, which is higher than the central bank's target level, as its efforts to reduce inflation continue.

The Ministry of Commerce reported on Friday that the personal consumption costs (PCE) index rose 0.3 % and 2.5 % annually. These figures were in accordance with the estimated economists of the LSEG poll.

Core PCE, which does not eliminate the price of food and unstable energy, has increased by 0.3 % for the month and 2.6 % increased last year.

This is a developing story. Please review again for updates.
