Apple has introduced a spring inspired refreshment in its accessories lineup along with the new hardware on Tuesday. The company announced updates in its iPad lineupincluding air models and entry level. But it also revealed shoots fresh, vibrant colors for accessories such as Apple Watch strips and cases for iPad and iPhone.
Apple told CNET that its silicone options for iPhone 16 are now coming in four new shades: Peony (Pink), Periwink (blue), aquamarine (green) and tangerine (orange). Cases that are compatible with Magsafe are also available for the iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Plus and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Meanwhile, the “Smart Folio” case of $ 79 for the iPad now comes to the sky (blue), white, watermelon (pink-red) and lemonade (yellow).
The new colors are also joining several Apple Watch collections. The solo -loop band ($ 99) is now coming to Peony and Aquamarine, while solo loop ($ 49) is available in Periwink and Northern Lights. The Sport Band $ 49 lining gets a refreshment with Periwink and Mandarin, while Sport Loop ($ 49) is now coming to Sage (Green).
Periwink Blue is a new option for Apple Watch Series 10 Sport Band.
ITCH UBRANI, Research Manager at the IDC market research firm, said the new accessories are part of Apple's repetitive efforts to arouse renewed interest in certain products months after procurement.
“The spring color lining is well matched by fashion industry updates and helps Apple position the clock as a fashion accessory, in addition to health and fitness,” Ubrani told CNET. “The same can be said about the new phone cases. It's hard to say whether this is moving the Apple Watch needle, but marketing helps keep the brand fresh and bring them to the forefront. “
