Ramon Lamas, director of research at the IDC market research firm, said the development of AI over the past 18 months is at the center of doing better and faster. Pixel Sens, he said, will essentially boost this in a way that “you don't need to get a new phone – you need a phone that gets you.”
By drawing existing services and applications, Google would be in a strong position to deliver this to its customers. “It is positioned by Pixel Sense not only as a smart assistant,” he said, “but also as your personal concierge, taking into account what you do, curing that information, serving it with relevant and personalized data options you can act on.”
This is not the first time Google has been working on improving its Google assistant. Pixie is said to be a super -filled, renewed version of what the company now calls Pixel Sense.
At the same time, Google continues to introduce new AI-off tools for its products. It also adds video and live video sharing of live twins, which allows users to talk directly with his “Chatbot twins” and a feature that aims to catch robocal fraud with the help of AI.
Lamas noted that companies will double in ways to complete short, quick tasks on finding a location, playing music or set up a timer. “Developing assistants so that they become more contextual and personalized, where there is little effort needed by the user … is the place where companies go,” he said.
