“The worst is yet to come” as the former cycle is close to Australia


Hundreds of thousands of homes are energyless as the storm Alfred brings strong winds and heavy rains to the central east coast of Australia.

Originally called the Alfred Cyclone, the Meteorological Front was reduced to a tropical low with winds, set to reach up to 85 km/h, less strong than the first forecast.
