A very affordable cash door can pay attention to all kinds of front door events.
Video storage
Maintaining footage of intruders or porch pirates (or similar problems) may be important. Even the cheap doors of the doors often come with a video storage option in the cloud (usually for a few dollars a month). Some have local storage options if you want to avoid those current fees, so carefully study the details.
Recognition of AI
Recognizing objects using features for you is especially useful for video, allowing the gadget to recognize packages, people, animals and vehicles and sends you signals just what matters. In our experience, doors of doors are usually collected by joggers and people who go to their pets, but good recognition avoids signals for vehicles and animals to save stress. Some companies maintain items behind subscriptions, while others include it for free.
Smart compatibility of home
If you already have a security system or preferred voice assistant, such as Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, always look for a video that works with your current choices. Amazon brands tend to limit Alexa's doors only. The compatibility of Apple Siri and Apple's home is particularly difficult to find here, especially for budget choice.
Wired versus wireless
Battery models are easier to set up, but they sometimes (not always) cost more. Wired models are usually the best way to save. We found a selection of both options for reasonable prices.
Audio quality
If you like the idea of talking beyond your door, look for the one that has an effectively two -way audio, preferably by giving up noise or similar properties. We test the quality of the audio in every door we look at to make sure you can talk.
Field of view and resolution
Video necks do not need a particularly widely visible field, but it is good to have quality if they face a large front yard. Also, greater resolution makes it easy to see faces and other important details, so it's nice to find a model that is at least HD.
