Meta is reportedly working on a software update issue that was causing some Quest 2, Quest 3 and Quest 3S headsets to lock up, the company says. announced. “We have identified a software update issue that is causing some Quest 2/3/3S headsets to become unresponsive and unable to launch correctly,” Meta writes in its help center. “We are actively working to resolve this issue for all users, but in most cases you can now use your device normally. The issue began on December 6th when Meta reported that software updates were affecting Quest 3S devices at the time. The update includes features like virtual desktop, faster hand tracking, easier pairing with Windows 11 PCs, and more.
