Nvidia has completed the acquisition of Run:ai, an Israeli startup that helps manage and optimize AI hardware infrastructure.
As part of the integration, Run:ai says its software is open source, which currently only works with Nvidia products, meaning competitors like Nvidia and Intel will be able to adapt it for their hardware.
“We are eager to build on the successes we have achieved so far, expand our talented team, and expand our product and market,” said Run:ai. said Bloomberg said in a statement. “Open sourcing software will allow it to expand its availability throughout the AI ecosystem.”
