The elite status in companies renting hotel and cars can bring many benefits, from free breakfast to improved vehicles.
But achieving these lofty levels is a section for an average traveler. Or maybe it?
The improved status of loyalty and other travel benefits have some credit cards, and many of these benefits advertise the banks that issue them.
But some benefits are less advertised. They can be found by going directly to the credit company itself.
Find your card
In this report, we gain access to benefits of two companies from credit cards: MasterCard AND Visa.
If you have a credit card from each company, look at the card to see if you have one of them:
- MasterCard: Standard or Gold Mastercard, Mastercard Platinum or Titanium, Mastercard World, Mastercard World Elite
- Visa: Visa Classic, Visa Gold, Visa Platinum, Visa Signature, Visa Infinite
The benefits and conditions of the card differ depending on the country, but here are some that CNBC Travel is available in Asia and the Pacific.
Party at the basic level
For those who think that decent profits are equipped only with cards at the highest level, do not be afraid. Credit card companies also grant benefits to basic card holders.
Holders of the standard MasterCard card are entitled to free Additional night at Capella Hotels and Resorts (with certain limitations and with selected properties) and automatic “Gold” status in Wyddham Hotels & Resorts Loyalty program, which is equipped with accelerated earnings and late check -ups.
Visa classic card holders can get a 20% discount on participating restaurants as part of the “Dine and Save” program, but these and other discounts with airlines and travel porters are often well published.
Pearls at the highest level

Is there any catch?
