Just a few days after the release of Squid Game Season 2Netflix has announced that a third season is already in the works.
The third installment of the highly popular deadly Korean game show will be released in 2025. Netflix released on X on New Year's Eve. The poster shows the Red Light Green Light doll, Young-hee, next to a male doll named Chul-soo.
“YANG-HEE and CHUL-SU,” Netflix announced. “Squid Game Season 3. Coming 2025”.
Season 2 ended on a cliffhanger, with the episode Friend or Foe setting the stage for the final conflict to play out in the final season. It took more than three years after the release of the runaway-success first season for the second season to come out. Seasons 1 and 2 of Squid Game are streaming Netflix now.
