Donald Trump's special prana Steve Vitcof and top diploma Marco Rubio will have talks with European counterparts in Paris today to discuss efforts to end the war in Ukraine.
The conversations – which will also be attended by the United Kingdom Foreign Secretary David Lami – form the highest level of transatlantic commitment to the February War.
In recent months, the US government has not been rushed to consult its European allies.
Thursday meetings are important for their happening, if nothing else. Vitcof and Rubio will be seen by French President Emanuel Macron and his team.
The US Secretary of State will then talk to Lami with French and German counterparts. European national security advisers will also be included.
The US Department of State said the focus will be on how to end the fighting in Ukraine and Vitcof will report on his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin last week.
European diplomats have said they will urge the US to exert more pressure on Russia to agree to the end of the fire.
“We want the US to use a little more sticks,” an employee said.
