Pope Francis At the age of 88, the Vatican confirmed to the public on Monday, and looking at the end of a period seen by some people in the Roman Catholic Church.
Cardinal Kevin Joseph Ferrell said in a statement, “Dearst Brothers and Sisters, I have to announce the death of my Holly Father Francis, with deep sorrow.”
“This morning, 7.35 (local time) returned to the Bishop of Rome, Francis, Father's house. His entire life was dedicated to the service of the Lord and his church.
The statement continues: “With the most grateful thanks for this example of the Lord Jesus, we praise the soul of Pope Francis for the infinite kind of love and the Trinity God.”
In recent months, the Pope has died after health challenges, including being admitted to the hospital several weeks ago for a complex infection of pneumonia and lungs, which requires high levels of oxygen and blood transfusions.
With the Pope's death, the next Pope will be summoned to the Sustaine Chapel in the coming days, which can be decided in two weeks.
Francis, who was previously regarded as Cardinal George Mario Bergoglel, was considered to be a dark horse candidate when he was selected in 2013 to replace the Bendite XVI in 2013.
In the history of the church, the first pop of America, was also the first to name Francis – after the Sunnah who was associated with the poor.
As recently as April 2023, Francis washed the feet of prisoners and observed a sacred ritual of humility on Thursday – did so in the same teenage prison where he performed the same ceremony in the first year of his Papisi.
It was one of the numerous tasks that he did during his time as a Pope, told people that “wealth and wealth will end like dust in the air.” On the same day he also played his own hotel bill which he played.
Health problems suffered Francis in the years after that: In 2021, he removed a portion of his colon, and he had been suffering from his knee and inflammation fractures from 2023. Next year, he had surgery to repair the stomach hernia and remove the intestinal stain tissue.

The church had not been able to attract new supporters, but also critics to take these issues before.

He also made history in 2022 when he apologized for the role of a church in Canada's residential schools in Vatican, and then on a historic journey, on the land of Canada. It was a change in the previous Pope's actions, in which he expressed “grief” but did not apologize.
After apologizing, several individual Catholic organizations, parasites and bishops, apologizing for the spiritual, cultural, emotional, physical and sexual exploitation of local children and their families, put the church on the youth who forced the church to go to school.
But in 2015, the truth and the Reconciliation Commission issued 94 calls for action, including a Popal pardon request in Canada. It was requested to do the same within a year of release of the report – it took six years to come.

But Francis also inherited a massive crisis that began long before becoming a Pope and was intensified under his watch: Sexual exploitation among Catholic priests.
On Chile's journey in 2018, he became the first Pope who publicly condemned him, which he called the “Culture of Abuse and Cover”, and that he was ashamed that neither he nor the Catholic leaders of the country heard the spread of the scandal.
For years, the Vatican focused on punishing those who have been abusive for decades, instead of bishop and religious top officers who moved the pedo files from the parish to the parish, instead of reporting to the police or removing them from the ministry.
Even when the Pope began to look at the scandal, more matters came to light when an American cardinal was dismissed for abuse in 2019 and was found guilty of abusing the Australian Cardinal Koir boys.
As a response, Francis called for an unprecedented summit in which members were openly criticized.
The Pope himself said that Catholic is not just looking for condemnation but is looking for concrete steps.
Francis told the priest, “Faced with this curse of sexual abuse by church men to harm minors, I thought I would ask you.”
