Images shared by Reuters showed a McDonald's engulfed in flames as firefighters worked to contain the blaze at nearby Eaton's. Pasadena, California.

A wildfire in Eaton, Calif., tripled in size in a matter of hours Wednesday.

The Angeles National Forest announced Wednesday afternoon that Eaton fire It had reached an area of 10,600 hectares. This fire was only 2,227 hectares until Tuesday night.

Los Angeles is at the center of four wildfires. In addition to the Eaton fire, the Palisades, Woodly and Hurst fires are still burning. Firefighters were able to contain another wildfire in Tyler, Calif., after it spread to about 15 acres on Wednesday.
