Michael Heat: I sat by the window here in a wired office, and when I looked out the window, I looked right on the flying bridge and I saw Cybertrucks all day.
Zoë Schiffer: Oh my God.
Lauren Goodde: It is almost like cybertrucks only reconstructed in real time. They are reproducing, they are reproducing more lives. Is this the worst leader ever for this episode?
Michael Heat: Do you know what? I will take it.
Lauren Goodde: Alright.
Michael Heat: I will completely take it.
This is Wired's Strange valleyA program of people, the power and influence of Silicon Valley. Today, we are talking about the pronunciation movement, and how to promote the increase in the birth rate is the trend between some of the biggest and rich names of Silicon Valley. We will talk about some history behind pronunciation, who is a great supporter right now, and all it shows. I am Michael Calore, director of consumer and cultural technology here in Wired.
Lauren Goodde: I am Lauren Good, I am a senior writer in Wired.
Zoë Schiffer: And I'm Zoë Schiffer, Sales and Industry Director of Wired.
Lauren Goodde: So, a few weeks before we talked about dating applications, I was like, oh, you'll rely a lot on me because I think between us, maybe I have a lot of experience using the most dating application, but now I feel like Mike, you and I will be like “
Zoë Schiffer: I feel like I am doing my part for the decline of the population. I have two and I will not have anymore, thank you.
Michael Heat: And setting the scene here, Lauren and I have no children.
Lauren Goodde: And Zoë is also one of our big bosses in Wired. Therefore, I will only say in a normal settings, not a podcast installation, I may not sit across her face and say: “Let me know about your experience when having children and parents”, but for the benefit of Podcast.
Zoë Schiffer: Lauren, we bring our whole work to work, let's stop.
Lauren Goodde: Me too.
Zoë Schiffer: And we are friends.
Lauren Goodde: Yes, we are friends.
Michael Heat: Well, to start the conversation, I think we should determine what pronunciation is and who is the biggest supporter of this movement.
Zoë Schiffer: I think you will say, we will identify what the baby is. It is like a small, bald person. The next question.
OK, so pronunciation at its core is a thought that motivates people to have children. And in the specific Silicon Valley, it is linked to this concern with a population decline. The idea that people do not have enough babies to add the population, and it creates all kinds of economic problems on the road.
