A Mother from North Carolina has gone viral on TikTok after sharing that she accidentally put glue, instead of medicated eye drops, in her eyes – leading to a hospital visit.
A tragic accident landed the mother, who is also an adoptive parent, in her home hospital in Concord, North Carolina in December. Fox 4 Dallas reports.
The viral video showed an unnamed woman a hospital bed his eyes are closed.
“Hi, if you're here, you've seen my mom's viral video. She closed her eyes,” her daughter, Ria Faggart, wrote on the GoFundMe page.

Faggart said her mother's eyes will be reopened between 5-7 weeks until she knows for sure whether she is there was any damage.
“We appreciate all the prayers and all the concern,” she said. “He's going to be out of work and I'm the mother raising him, so he doesn't have disability (insurance).”

This is not the first time someone has mistaken nail glue for eye drops.
Brianne Shipley also went viral in October after she had a similar product mix. A resident of Florida she took her nail glue instead of her eye medicine to treat a bacterial eye infection.

“After I got the notification, I reached out blindly, grabbed the bottle, opened my eye with one hand and put the drops in,” he said. PEOPLE. “As the drop was coming down I realized that the consistency of the plastic bottle felt wrong. As soon as it hit my eye, I started screaming.”
