A pizza delivery driver stabs a woman who gave her over Rs 170 and later turns out to be pregnant.


A 22-year-old pizza delivery driver in Florida stabbed a woman 14 times at a hotel after getting frustrated with a $2 (about 170 rupees) tip. In an unexpected twist, the injured woman was being treated for her injuries at a local hospital when she discovered she was pregnant.

The suspect, identified as Brianna Alvelo, faces charges of attempted murder, home invasion with a firearm, kidnapping and aggravated assault, according to NBC News. Authorities are still working to identify a man believed to have been with Alvelo during the attack.

According to the woman's account to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office, the victim, her boyfriend and her 5-year-old daughter were staying at a motel in Kissimmee to celebrate a birthday when they ordered a Marco's pizza, according to the affidavit. the weekend

Alvelo came to deliver the order, which cost approximately $33 (about Rs. 2,800), and asked for change for a $50 (about Rs. 4,300) bill. However, the delivery driver did not have the required change. After searching the small denominations, the woman finally gave Alvelo a $2 tip.

According to the affidavit, the victim described hearing a loud knock on the door shortly after the pizza was delivered. When she answered, a masked man and woman dressed in black forced their way into the room. The affidavit identified the man as holding a silver revolver, ordered the woman's boyfriend into the bathroom, and showed the woman, believed to be Brianna Alvelo, a pocket knife.

The intruders robbed the victim of belongings, the report said. The man went through her purse and broke her daughter's Nintendo Switch. As the victim tried to protect her child, she felt a sharp pain in her lower back.

The affidavit revealed she was stabbed 14 times in the chest, arms, legs and abdomen. The victim learned that she was pregnant while undergoing treatment at a local hospital.

Alvelo is currently being held in the Osceola County Jail on $55,000 (about Rs. 47,05,000) bail. Records show that no lawyer has been appointed to represent her.
