A second fire broke out in Pasadena amid strong Santa Ana winds

As firefighters battled a fast-moving brush fire in Pacific Palisades, a second fire broke out in nearby Pasadena.

The two fires forced more than 30,000 people from their homes. An estimated 200 acres have burned in the Pasadena area as firefighters battle the Eaton Fire. Eaton firefighters are on the move as the fire continues.

Strong Santa Ana winds grounded firefighting aircraft, rendering them unable to fly and hampering aerial bombing efforts.
