Tech billionaire and anti-aging activist Bryan Johnson he answered clearly that he did not believe that he would die, because of the way he was living.
Johnson appeared The Free Press' “Honestly” podcast and Bari Weiss on Tuesday to talk about his recent Netflix documentary “Don't Die: The Man Who Wants to Live Forever” which detailed his strict regime for the goal of achieving don't die.
Calling himself “by and large” the healthiest person on record, Johnson directly replied that he did not believe he would die, although he was unclear about living “forever.”

“No,” Johnson replied.
Weiss followed, “You think you're going to live forever?”
“Forever is not a concept that the human mind can think of, but will we be able to extend life completely beyond what we thought? Yes,” Johnson answered. “Is it going to happen before my natural limit now? My life span might be like, I don't know, 80, 90, things like that if I maintain my health. But technology is moving so fast … I will live or die this moment much faster than my life expectancy will be.”
Johnson's lifestyle includes going to bed at 8:30 p.m., tracking his sleep patterns at night and even infusing his teenage son's plasma into his bloodstream.

When pressed on whether he “misses the things that make life,” Johnson explained that mankind's knowledge of life is still limited.
“Let's imagine we're doing a thought experiment,” Johnson began, “we're hanging out with Homo erectus. They've been around for a million years. And we say to Homo erectus, 'Homo erectus, tell us , what is the purpose of life?' And they'll grumble and be like 'hunting and gathering, and we'll lead our tribe. We'll have more war.' They won't be able to tell you about quantum mechanics or about smartphones or about antibiotics or about electric lights or about this new kind of AI art they are not concepts they understand.
He continued, “They couldn't talk intelligently about what health is. They're just too primitive in their thinking. We're as old as Homo erectus as we are. in AI. We are like the old ones. We can't say anything intelligent about the future.
He added that it is important for people to remain “very humble” when thinking about being present and urged the audience to “clear our preconceived notions about what it means” as we try to achieve this approach. life.

He added: “When you are still a baby you are far from having the power of the gods, in this case, artificial intelligence, the only enemy is death.” “There is no other enemy. This is not the time to raise armies and conquer territories. That is the game of the past centuries of Homo sapiens. It is not the game for us now. So, we are just in a different time of being human. . and we need to up our game as a brand to understand where we are.”
